The Alvor Baia Resort Hotel sits right in the south of the Algarve in the village of Alvor; an old fishing village with cobbled streets and stunning beaches. The hotel is comprised of 402 suites across 5 floors in a large grassy compound with swimming pools and bars contained within it. You can choose from either the Prestige Studio or the Classic, with room for up to 4 people in each. Each room has twin beds and a sofa bed for extra guests and offers free WiFi, air conditioning, cable TV and a balcony that overlooks the complex. Rooms have a microwave, fridge and a dining area. A safe is available for an extra cost, and breakfast is included in the price, served in the complex’s restaurant.

The hotel has a hydrotherapy pool (extra cost), a large outdoor pool in the centre of the complex, with children’s only pool alongside and surrounded by sun loungers. There is a free children’s club, so you know the kids will be entertained during your stay and childcare is also available if you need it. While you stay you can also take advantage of the full spa with sauna, different types of massage and a Turkish Hammam among many other options for total relaxation and pampering (extra cost).

The Green buffet restaurant serves international cuisine and traditional Portuguese food all day long or you can have brunch at the Grand Bar before heading to the beach. The Grand Café serves cocktails for you to sip poolside, and room service is available if you want to dine on your private balcony.

If sport is your thing, there is an excellent golf course nearby and a basketball court on site, there is also a playground for children and pool tables all within the hotel compound. Reception is open 24 hours and staff are multilingual so you can order airport transfers or ask for any help you need; laundry services are also available at reception.
